Grilled Ginger-Sesame Chicken Wings Grill a batch of these wings for a supper on the deck, porch or at a picnic table. Recipe: The Working Family's Cookbook - Author Irena Chalmers Prep Time 15 minutes Cooking Time 20 minutes Serves 4 to 6 Ingredients 4 pounds chicken wings 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh ginger, chopped 1 jalapeno pepper, stemmed, seeded and chopped 2 medium-size cloves garlic, chopped 2 tablespoons brown sugar 6 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce 2 tablespoons sesame oil 2 teaspoons Oriental sesame oil Directions Light the charcoal grill. Remove the smallest section of each wing at the joint and discard. In a non-aluminum container, combine the remaining ingredients and stir to blend. Add the chicken wings and turn to coat them in marinade. Let the wings marinate, turning several times, while the grill heats, or for at least 40 minutes. Remove the wings from the marinade and grill them, brushing often with the marinade, for about 20 minutes until the skin is crisp and lacquered and the meat is tender.
